Oliver 80 standard

Complete tractor but has been sitting for years. Motor is stuck, tires are weather rotted. Does this tractor have any value to anyone?

Of course it will have some value to someone.

The first question I would want answering is: What is the condition of the manifolds (exhaust in particular). They are prone to decay and a mega expensive compared to the possible value of the rest of the tractor.

I already have five 80s and am the wrong side of the pond.

Regards, RAB

Sure it has value to some one.Advertise and find out. These old girls sure have value along with the others on display.JH

My sense of it is that the 80 is one of the less popular Olivers, generally (unless its one of the 5 or so diesels that were made). Engine stuck, manifold probably bad, and back tires rotted- I doubt you could sell for the cost of fixup, even if tractor is free.

Now is this tractor in the picture the one with the foot clutch on the right hand side? I seen one like that at last years Winter Oliver show. Sure seems like it would be strange to drive it that way, but I guess you can get used to any thing, if you put your mind to it.

Do you still have this tractor? I am restoring my grandpa's old 80 Std and might be able to use it for parts.
