From the help I received earlier on this page, I was able to fix the shifting problem in my 1949 88. So, THANK YOU!

My next issue is a tight brake band. I thought the new lining would wear in but it heats up more than I like when driving short distances. Any guesses on how much to turn the brake drum?

Additionally, if anyone has any pressed steel front wheels or hubs I may be interested. [email protected].
