Oliver 88 gauges

Needing to put a temp and oil pressure gauge in the 88. I found a set on korves that ran right around $200. Looked on Amazon and found all three for around $50. Anybody tried these from Amazon? I hate to spend $200 of these would work. Thanks

I don’t know what that “amp” gauge is supposed to me measuring but when all it says on the face is discharge and the scale doesn’t even have a pos and neg range I’m gonna make a pretty educated guess and say it won’t work right for long if at all. The Korves gauges are about as faithful to the originals as you can get right down to the correct font of the lettering. You get what you pay for.

When you look at the first photo of all three, you can tell that it is AI generated. Presently, AI still has a problem with numbers. Who knows what this set looks like in real life. If you buy this set from Amazon, you’ll eventually buy another set from Korves.

Back in 2019, when I bought a set from Korves, I was told that the foreign made set had been turning out to be better than the US made set. With another seven years of experience gone by, I’d ask them if their assessment is the same.

Looks like the photo of the tractor used in that product listing is AI generated as well.

I called korves today, the older gentleman recommended the imported gauges over the USA made ones. We shall see, I ordered them. Thanks! 🙏

blkeele, the best gauges would be from Evergreen Restorations. The top level Korves sells are equal to the Evergreen gauges. If you are not working your tractor in the field everyday the import gauges will be good, the face color is closer to Oliver yellow.
