Oliver 88 Weight Reduction

We pull a 1951 Oliver 88 in 4500 and 5000. Without any weights, it weighs 4270. It still has fenders, belt pulley, hydraulics, and pto. It has steel pressed front and rear with 13.6x38 tires. If we remove the belt pulley, hydraulics, and pto, would we be able to make 4000? Would we have to remove the fenders too?

I dont know where you are but here (Iowa) many
clubs will not allow 88 below 4500

Yes you will.You should make it plus you can remove the seat suspension and build a new seat bracket with out the suspension.

Two of our clubs won't allow it below 4500, but the other one will.
