i have a oliver 88 gas that misses terrible when put under a load i replaced the points and condenser about 4 months ago and i used it about maybe 4 hours what could be the problem

I wonder if its not getting enough fuel. Sometimes over the winter the gas will varnish in the tank and carb. You could try taking the carb off and soaking it in carb cleaner.

AUTOLITE spark plugs will help,could be a weak coil also. hope this helps, DON

Make sure your spark plug wires are copper, not graphite. That's why my 77 was doing that.

You may have a little drop of water partially blocking your main jet needle. Add some HEET to your fuel then drain the carb and give her a try. It may take several minutes of running for the alcohol to do its job.
