I purchased a Oliver 356 sickle mower from a neighbor and all it needs is a new pittman stick, so far I cannot find one online, does anyone know if you can buy one anywhere?? If not, does anyone have the dimensions of it so I can make one?? Thanks

To be clear; you have the ends and are looking for just the wood or are you looking for the entire pitman assembly?

I just finished doing a restore on a 356 3-point mower. It had a complete pitman stick on it but was very rotted and bent. I believe not an original Oliver as it had a bar code sticker on it. I measured it and found that AI had a 81C46 pitman wood for CASE 25V, 27V and 27VA mower and 31.75" length. I had initially measured an approximate length of 31.50" length from my old stick but ordered it. It fit and the "register" on the sickle was almost dead on. However, there is an adjustment that can be done on the mower (see operator' manual) if the "register" is not correct; I did not have to change mine. Also, be sure that when folding the bar up the stick is not being bent.
