Oliver Superior Red?

I have a couple pieces of the Oliver Superior equipment. Most notably, a drill and #44 Corn planter. I am looking to paint both items but am wondering what color of red best matches up to the original. IH Red, Massey Harris red, etc. Or does anyone know if agco makes a red to work with this old equipment?

Here are some PPG's paint codes for IH red 71310 and Cochshutt red 78210. Any of these numbers can be cross-referenced to Dupont or Martin Senour's paint codes. I would look at a chip to see which one you like the best. Hal
PS: MH red codes are 70364 & 70837 and 72598 for MF tractors.

The Dumont's in your home state of Iowa have decals and will let you know the correct paint codes for your "Superior" implements. Give them a call they are good people.

Is it the same as the red on the Oliver tractor wheels? The PPG number for that is Maranello Red DBC 4186. I've got the Martin Senour code for that somewhere too,just not right in front of me. I think it's at www.oliverinformation.com. Maybe it's not the same as the Superior,but I wouldn't know why it wouldn't be.
