I think it’s from the 1950s the exhaust valve is bent but when I look up the model number it doesn’t come up anything can anybody tell me what model it is or a part number for the valve

All this nameplate data seems to be for the generator end only. Is there possibly another tag on the engine/frame somewhere?

That's the model of the generator head. Won't help you on engine parts.

Have you tried smokstak.com? They have a fairly active community specializing in antique small engines.

Boomer would a great source if he is still in business. I've bought from him in the past. Lots of Onan knowledge. If get the engine info, post it and if he isn't able to help, I may have some parts for B and P series engines.

I looked for another tag and there is two holes on the side of the block were a tag looks to of been

Onan tags are normally on the sheet metal air shrouds.
That looks like a cast iron block. If so, I won't be any help, as all my experience and parts are for the later aluminum blocks.
Boomer may be able to ID it and have parts, but he will need a larger pic showing more of the engine.

That tag you have shown is the correct tag. 105 AK is part of the engine model. Need to find a Onan ace that knows what he's looking at.

At this point it might take less time to remove the valve and start comparing its dimensions to another more mainstream flathead engine valve in the 8 hp area, which is what that engine appears to be. Valve head diameter , stem length and diameter are the main things you need to know. Don't be too concerned about the spring retaining method, you can use a spring and retainer out of whatever engine the valve is for.

Possibly a engine machine shop can help you, where they often have access to the dimensions of their parts.

I would like to add that the stem diameter is the easiest to deal with, hopefully you'll find an oversized stem then you can ream the guide in the block to the correct size.

@Farmall m farmer - Old generator, built December of 1960. The SmokStak Onan forum is the place to go for information. The 105AK-1M/1J is the model number for BOTH the engine and generator. And, it is only 1.5 KW, so about 3 horsepower - service manual has exact specifications.

Parts are probably non-existant for this set; not too common. Some things from other sets will work. This is an Onan-designed and built engine - not a Briggs or Tecumseh, or some other engine.

I have been servicing Onan generators since the 1970's, and still remember (!) quite a bit about the older sets (pre 2000).

Was the part #110B827?

In later years Onan dropped the alpha's in the part numbers, so the same part number would be 110-0827.
