One hand wire stripper?

My old fingers have difficulty using wire strippers. Too much arthritis, no strength. Old age sucks..

At one time I had a wire stripper that all I had to do was squeeze the handles and the wire was stripped. Very easy. Did a good job.
Somehow I managed to lose the tool. I don't remember the brand.


Amazon shows many one hand wire strippers.
Do you have a one hand wire stripper that you like?

I had a cheap plastic one, but a few years ago it broke and I threw it away. Last winter I bought a different style at a yard sale in AZ, but I don't have a photo. It's really old and doesn't work very well. When I get back to AZ in 6 weeks I should take a photo of it and post it, maybe it's a rare antique!

I've used several, Klein and cheap copies. They all work, some better and longer than others. A couple of Klein part numbers commonly available on the 'net. Ebay seems cheaper than others. 11061 and 11063 are the two PN's I found.

I have a GB (Gardner Bender) GS-394 that is metal and works quite well. Home Depot, Ace, Amazon, Ebay. Sometimes slips a little on hard slippery wire coatings.

I have had good ones like the stripmaster branded as snap-on none have satisfied me. Get a Klein and move on with life

I ordered a Klein tools Part # 11063 from Amazon.
I should have it this Friday.
I lost mine about 20 years ago.
I noticed the new Klein has a built in wire cutter.

I have been using a GB "Milwaukee clipper" for 40 years. I have tried others and have others in the drawer, but when my clipper wears out I try the others and then go back and get another Milwaukee clipper.

I have had a pair of these for over 20 years now. I just looked at them and they are made in Taiwan but they work perfectly. They are excellent for getting into tight places and stripping a hard to get at wire. They are also marked with the gauge.

Many years ago, I bought a brand sold by the Snap on truck. Its stripped many many wires. Sorry I don't remember if it was an actual snap on tool.
