One more 300 question

Does anyone know where a person can get a new ignition switch equal to the original? Everything that shows as a replacement has spade terminals on the back of it instead of the screw terminals. That makes it a real pain to replace the switch as now you have to install spade terminals on the wires and then solder them to the wire. Finally the terminals have to be covered with heat shrink to insulate them.

Try Dorman,you may have to look deep but they used to sell them. The first stuff will be what you have found already.

Make up some short wires that can be changed from the loops to the spades and then just put some short bolts in the loop holes to hold them together.

Brillman Company has an on off switch with a key and spade terminals but it looks like the push pull style has screw terminals.

A universal on/off switch from auto zone has screw terminals.
