Brought home another Massey Harris tractor yesterday. According to the serial number it’s a 1943 101 senior but the serial number is really hard to read. Pretty decent tractor overall with a stuck engine of course.

The 1946 101 SR that I pulled my sawmill with had a Continental 226 and was a very stout and smooth puller on the belt.

By the serial number it is a senior but there have been lots of changes.
Nice. You'll have that new shop full before spring. Are you reading the SN on the plate, or the stamping on the transmission edge, across from the shifter? steve
i was trying to read it off the plate. There has been several coats of paint on it. I’ll get a better look soon. Hopefully going to start the New Year out right today by picking up a John Deere R parts tractor that I bought yesterday. The shop is coming along slowly. But won’t be long till I can use it. All the best in the New Year Steve.
