One pass tillage tools

Does anyone out there have any information or experience using a tool that tills and finishes in one pass? I am looking for a tool in corn or soybean residue that will do everything in one pass. New equipment would be out of the question because of price. I have looked at Remlinger rolling baskets and harrows to add on my disk. Thanks!

The only thing I can think of is a Do-All as a older 1 pass tillage equipment. I dout that there is a true 1 pass tillage machine, This one is close to being it. They use to be big around here then eveybody went to no-till. Bandit

There are the tools that are suppose to do a one pass seed bed preperation. We call them soil finishers here in the midwest.

They are not cheap but come the closest to doing it in one pass.

On bean stubble I one pass with a field cultivator with coil tine harrow on the back.I have also done it in corn stalks but conditions have to be just right.

The biggest secret to one pass tillage is distrubution of the straw behind the combine the year before.You have to do a good job on the spreading for the rest to work.

Forgot to add it takes a good field cultivator with lots of clearance to do A one pass as well. More rows of shanks to get the shanks farther apart.

Here is what I use, a DMI with five rows space 6 inches on center.

Thanks for the input. I think the soil finisher is more along the lines of what I am looking for. A field cultivator does work well on bean ground though. The corn stalks are my only concern. I try to no-till as much as possible, however, there are times when I still need to prepare ground. Thanks again,

I have no idea what they are going for used, but I know someone who has a Krause Landsman and likes it . . . .
