Orange Paint

[Papa’s 420T]

I think this is a 57 or 58? This was my Grandfathers. I have read an old thread that some government tractors were painted with orange paint. Is there a way to validate if this is original? Thanks in advance for help and information.

I think it would be unlikely being a 420T.
Chances would be much greater if it was a 420I, 420U or 420S in that order.

you would need to look at the hard to reach places for orange paint.

In line with what Mark posted, crawl under and look clean up the real oily crusted dirt places.
