What is best way to rid of orange peal? Sand and repaint?

depends on how bad. most often you can wet sand and buff to remove the orange peel

I decided that I painted with too low of air pressure setting the first time. I had painted some small parts with pressure turned down and forgot to turn the pressure back up again before I did the the main part(gas tank) which had the orange peel. I ended up sanding smooth and repainting. The second attempt with the increased air pressure resulted in a good smooth finish. Thanks for your help.
