Ordering parts for Cockshutt

Seems like I have a head gasket job to do. On tractor body I found AN7297 for serial which was easy on the web to refer as 1959 540 Cockshutt. On engine I found F400A421 S3 and on another spot J51 printed on engin as well.
Are those the numbers I need to order engine parts?Apparently most of them tractors came with F162 Continental engine. Is it enough for ordering parts?

I will get you the part number for a Victor head gasket set tomorrow when I am by my parts book. You need the toque values too, You have antiseeze? You will need to retorque it as well. More questions? Send me an e-mail. J.

Consider buying your parts from Phil Heisey, a frequenter on this site. You'll get all the parts and information you need, plus it helps the smaller suppliers that really make your rebuild easier.

Sure why not.So the number I read on my engine is enough for you to tell which part I need then. You must be shipping from US and I am in Canada. All good? While I will do the job any hints about what I should look for causing that gasket to burn? I have done regular car head but never did a flat head before might be interesting.
