Wife and I are thinking of visiting Austin, Tx mid October. What are things to do on a weekend that are pure Texas? We are from Missouri. TIA.
ustin does not equal "pure Texas". Other wise: Look at the pylons on overpasses for the Texas outline stamped in the concrete. Make sure you stay at a hostile that has a Belgian waffle maker that is in the shape of Texas. If you imbibe in adult beverages take in a movie at the Alamo Draft House (Austin is where the chain started). There is a donut shop that sells Texas ego size donuts. If your driving around down there allow extra transit time for all the traffic.(quoted from post at 20:32:46 08/17/16) visiting Austin, Tx .........things to do on a weekend that are pure Texas?
