OT- Chain Saw / Bad Gas

I posted a problem with two saws loosing power at the same time: thought it would be the gas gone bad.
It was not the gas. I got the Sthil 025 running with adjustment. Have not worked with Muckulock (spelling?) yet. This little saw has never given any trouble for about 30 years, maybe it's time.

Bill(NC),Dump that old gas out and mix up some new gas to put in your saw.Now days gas won't last six months before going bad and turning to varnish.Your carb is varnished up some thats why you had to readjust it to get it to run.Get you a can of SEA FOAM and mix it in your gas,to clean out the gunk in your fuel system.

Agree--Seafoam is good stuff.....be watching, the nay sayers will come along and say it is just another snake oil BUT no problem for them to BE WrOng AGAIN.......

Tom,They can NAY all they want.I have used Sea Foam for years with proven results many times over. And I know for a fact that it works for me,it will work for others to.The ones that NAY probably have never used it.They just believe ATF will do it all LOL :-)

I agree..I should have said, I also have used it with proven results many times..The best additive available as far as I am concerned..Thanks
