OT Considering ATT DSL service.

Might switch from my dial up service to ATT&T DSL service. Is there comments good or bad on this service?

I use it, I have the higher speed, cost about 50.00 a month, but have no issues, great speed, just got to have a computor with enough RAM to be able to utilize the speed, after I upped my RAM from 256 to over 750, then it worked nicely.

It's great, go with the low cost pkg, we did and it's SO much faster than dial-up!

i use att dsl like it when you goto it they send you a package with a CD with instructions and fiters to go on the phone line so you can be on the computer and call out and recive calls on the same line they want you to put a filter at each phone you have. But a service man told me to put one at the computer connection anr one at the box where the line enters the house it works great as i have an extention in each room and garage. that would be more filters than they send. dont let them try to sell you more filters.it can be done with what they send you .

I just recently switched from AT&T dial up to AT&T DSL. The DSL is really fast compared to the dial up. So far, no complaints. They send you a disc that takes you through the steps to connect everything and get you on line. It was really easy to get it going...
