OT Cross country finals

Granddaughter ran in the state cross country finals. Finished 94 in a field of 254. Not bad at all for a sophmore her first year in the state meet. She still has the next two years to improve. She made it to state,that's the main thing.

Randy, She"s a winner in my book. Would like to meet her and shake her hand some time. Sure my daughter would too. Anyone that gets to state finals is SOME athlete!

Yep,she did it on her own too. There were 26 schools there with entire teams. She qualified as an individual. She was the only girl there from her school. There was one boy from her school too. He was impressive. He led by 150 yards at the one mile. Was on ESPN for that first mile they said. He has asthma though and it started getting to him so he had to slow down. He still finished OK though,just not first.
