Howdy,
I just noticed that my replies have been all negitive lately. I do believe that the cabin fever has gone on too long this year. We were just getting to a point where we could see brown grass (and dog poop) in a good part of the yard, maple tree buds are getting big birds showing up---ahh spring. Then a week ago the worst storm we had all winter, rain, freezing rain, sleet, snow, wind, thunder, lightning,-----dogs hiding under the beds. About 15 inches of snow as best I can tell and then the cold, lows in the single didgets still hanging on for the next few nights. I can't go out because of heart/breathing problems, cold weather affects me. Will spring ever come to Wisconsin?

"Will spring ever come to Wisconsin?"

From what I recall after 59 years up there, less 4 years floating around on the Atlantic and Mediterranean, it'll be by some time in June. Then there'll be a few days of summer (you know that's arrived cause of all the muskey-toes) and then you get to go indoors again. We (my wife and I) had enough of it and headed south some 7 years ago. Only problem is we didn't go far enough south. We still get in on that white stuff. Just funnin so don't get all hot and bothered. Come July I'll be thinking about a trip "home".

We have had 3 feet of snow here. All I could see of my tractors were the exhaust pipes. My chevy pickup parked at the end of the saw mill has been completly covered for a long time. Most snow is gone in the open but theres plenty left in the woods. We have more snow forecast for friday.Ive been here since 1966 and think its the worst winter I seen.

I believe you"re right. Its been one of the slowest springs I"ve ever seen. We"ve still got snow across much of the yard. I even snowmobiled in March which is mostly unheard of in central MA.
