It's Sunday, folks.

I like the McGuire Sisters.

This is not their greatest hit but it is one of the 1955 hits that sent them to their destiny with stardom.

They had two number one hits. I'm sure that most of you can remember at least one, Sugartime.

My most favorite McGuire Sisters song is none of these. I'll post a link later if no one links it.

Bingo, Coshoo, and a great song.

Here's my favorite McGuire Sisters song. Recorded in 1961 towards the end of the McGuire Sisters career, it went to #20 and was their last charting single.

I love that song. For months I have requested it at our church but the music director always had something else planned. Finally, 2 weeks ago, a guy in the choir sang it and was a big hit. Never gets old, and Sincerely is a great song too.

Not much response to this post so I'll add one.

The Lennon Sisters first appeared on the Lawrence Welk show on Christmas Eve in 1955. This is their first televised song.

Note: The recording is from a 1964 Lawrence Welk show when the Lennon Sisters again sang HE. The video shows parts of both recordings.
