Whatever works.

That took some doing. I like that. At least that has a practical use. Unlike the guy that mounted a Backhoe on the back of a riding lawn mower.

Shoot I welded a piece on my loader bucket so the center link area of my boom pole could be pinned to the bucket and also welded a U shape piece to the bottom of the boom pole so it sits on the lower lip of the bucket.

That's quickly turned that tractor into a "use once a year" kind of machine. Can you imagine that thing banging around on the front while you drive across the pasture? And the mashed fingers? Be still my heart.

Backyard engineering; amazing!!

I"m thinking about trying to make a middle buster out of one or two mattocks (adze heads) without the handles. :)

I've got a friend who built two huge metal buildings using his AC loader to hang all the metal by sitting in the bucket and controling the loader with ropes to the control levers.

Tight wad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In 1984 my sons and I with help of two friends built my 36x48 barn with 12' ceiling. I had a 10 foot long homade boom pole that replaced the bucket in my Wagner loader on my '51 8N. We set all of the taller poles and the roof trusses with that set-up.

I'm not sure I'd want to be the guy sitting in the bucket, but if it works...! Did you build it yourself?

The 4600 runs good, the 6' hog was a free by I got, is a servis/rhino, old 70's era, was pkwnty beat up, needed welding, etc, but it cuts just about anything, quite heavy, the 4600 needed front wheel weights, loaded fronts, and a bumper to keep it stable when loading in my deckover

I suspect he got them from a hay grinder. We built a 16' diameter tub alfalfa grinding machine for a local farmer and the conveyer had a pair of long cylinders that were very similar. It ran on a v12 huge diesel engine that took 2 forklifts to lift.

Hey if it works then as far as I'm concerned it's genius!!I need to put up a buillding of some nature and mostly by myself so anything to give me options and help to me this is brilliant. H'es taken and old loader that was probably a big buck rake and wiwth a few extensions turned it into something even more useful.
