A man came into my friend"s supply store today and bought 200 lbs. of corn gluten... feller said that the gluten would prevent/run off existing moles that were tunneling through his yard and barn lot. Anyone ever heard of this? It"s the first for me....

You can get it in bags just like fertilizer. We got ours at the local landscape supply. Not sure if the big box stores carry it or not. Milky spours is actually a fungus that after you apply it , it will continue to spread. One application will last for several years.I actually gets rid of the grubs and worms in the lawn, that in turn drives the moles elsewhere. You can google milky spore and get some good info.

I would like to get a rat terrier, but I don't have the room for a dog in the house. Are yours outside and if so can they handle the cold? Saw an ad in the paper today and someone has rat terrier/feist crosses. Might have to give one a try ....

I have a rat terrier they can handle some cold but they need a warm place to go mine goes into the garage thru a dog door.

For starters, I don't claim to be an expert on moles, but all the information I can find says moles eat earthworms, not grubs. If this is incorrect, point me in the direction of a educated/qualified source, please. Not trying to be a smart azz, I've got moles I want to be rid of, too.

I don't claim to be an expert either. But I do know how to read.(I think), But since I am the only one to mention grubs. You might notice my previous post said grubs and worms.
