OT Nice Days Work!

I knew nothing about this job at 7:30 this morning. By 8:30 I got there and the plumber had started replacing the valve and drain. By noon I had all the tile out, Dens Shield on, and 2 walls installed! By 4 I had it all installed, caulked and trash on its way to the dumpster! That is the beauty of these panels!

How was the flooring below the tub? Looks pretty black along the caulk line on the base of the
tub. Could be some significant water damage under the tub.... Did you inspect the supporting
floor joist and flooring?

Otherwise, from the top of the tub up, you work looks like an excellent job.

Your calling the entire sheets Dens Shield??? When I look them up it just show it as being a tile backing. If it is something that is entire sheets I would love to know what it is. I have some rentals that getting a new tub surround into is not practical. The tubs are fine and I would like them to look like what you have done.

Yes, the floor is rough shape. It is a state funded assistance for handicap people and they DO not want us 'upselling'! We were there to replace the tile walls and that is what we did!
Yes, Dens Shield is the backer board. These panels came from Kansas from the Onyx Collection! Also called cultured marble. This supplier is the only one I have ever had any 'good' luck with. They guarantee their product for life!
