OT oil spill

the tanker that spilled the oil on the coast was from China,does anyone know if they were bringing oil in or taking it out?

Wasn`t it bunker oil used to fuel the ship? That`s what I read.

They may have none but they may be hauling for another country other than China.

Or we are selling oil to them. If so why the heck are we selling to them if there is such a shortage as all the oil companies say there is?

Yup, it was fuel oil that powered the ship that leaked.

The news is saying it was a container ship that hit the bridge and cut its fuel tank.

Everyone skewered Exxon after the Valdez incident in Alaska and they are still having to pay. The real question is, will the Chinese get a pass from the press and the government. Initial reports indicate human error. The NTSB is not saying the investigation may take an entire year. Sounds like the stage is being set to let the Chinese off the hook. It must be politically incorrect to critize a country that holds our economy in its hand!!!
