OT - PB Blaster

I was trying to get some old wood boards out of an outdoor woodrack. Noticed several nice nests of wasps, some in the tubes of the rack and some in their honeycomb hives. I went back inside and looked for ANYTHING that I thought would give them a reason to leave. Only thing I could put my hands on was a new can of PB BLASTER....pulled off the top and shot a nice long stream of fluid at the nests......it must have loosened their bolts....dropped them like magic! Thought I would share, seems that bees are always present when I DONT have a way to get rid of them!

Please do not bad mouth BEES they are our friends. Now wasp ya they can be done with out. That said yep PB or Brake cleaner spray or carb cleaner or even WD40 will drop them and do so fast

sorry OLD - my grouping of wasps into the BEE category was not meant to be ! I too love the bees that do all of the food work for us! Even when I walk outside I try not to step on the bees in the clover.

Even the lowly wasp has its place. I've watched them more than once haul off a little green worm from my garden. Thats not to say I like them or want kill them.

Nothing like brush hogging and disturbing a big nest of wasps in the ground - next time you come around they are ready and extremely p off with you!!! I was lucky not to get stung.
