OT Propane Fueled Engine Problem

I know this probably way off topic , but I was wondering if anyone with a propane tractor has ever run into this problem. I had my propane fueled motor home out the other day, and when I had it refueled the line that is supposed to show when the tank is full to the recommended level seemed to be plugged. Neither gas or liquid propane will come out. Any ideas what would be the cause and what would maybe required to fix it?
Thanks for any info.

The little rubber gasket will get mashed down into the slot when it is tightened to tight. Just back it out a little and leave it barely snug and it will start to work again (just don't forget about is as it will leak out gas once it breaks loose). This happens all the time on large tanks, no big deal.
