OT (question for John T)

Is anything left of the Sarkes Tarzian electronics company in Bloomington? I interviewed for a job there in the late 60s, but didn't take it. Am planning to pass through the Bloomington area on Monday, March 10. Is there anything special to see from a tourist standpoint? Thanks. Ron in southern MN.

Nope, it went out n belly up years ago when the tv BUSINESS went from the old mechanical tuners etc to sold state I think. Its now a Carlise Brake plant or something. Likewise RCA where more Tv sets were made then anywhere in the world is all gone n dozed level and now a medical complex.

In Bloomington the Indiana University campus is nice to look at (besides just the coeds I mean lol) and theres Lake Monroe, Indiana Largest lake just Southeast from town. Nashville to the east on 46 is an arts n crafts community with Brown County State park

WE will just be getting home from South Texas n kid visits in Dallas n Memphis n getting ready to head to GOG ourselves about that time. Look me up at GOG wifes cell 812-361-3682
