Saw where Kubota has a 0% financing deal going on till the end of the yr. I can"t seem to find time to call them during the week. Not sure if the local(12-15 miles) dealer is open on Sat...Anyway, does anyone have any ideas what the MX 4700 and/or the MX5100 are selling for? I want no frills, two wheel drive, no loader..Just basic tractor. Can"t find any pricing online. Guess they do that so they all can hold out and charge what they get rteady to charge. Thanks

Have you even thought about 'Craigslist' or other options to buy a 'slightly used' machine ? OR are you bent on getting a new one? Todays market (down, in case you missed) for equipment is a BUYERS MARKET, please act accordingly, or, ask your 'bride'. Sorry , but a dollar is harder to come by than any other time in history. b

And worth less.....

Brand new means nothing to me..All used ones I see have new prices on them..Have checked CL some and seen nothing..Working man has no time to take care of his own business..dark when go to work, dark when get home, don"t ramble after dark.

If folks didn't make hard decisions, scrimp and save if need be, and buy these tractors NEW there would be no old tractors for us to play wit today.
Nothing wrong with a new car or pickup or tractor if you can pull it off. They're smooth and they're excellent and they're reliable.
Tom, I can't answer your questions but I hope you can get one.

4WD with a loader is the only way to buy,,, if you can not make the payments you can sell it but its a hard sell with out 4X4 and a loader...

Just helped a customer find a nice 2005 L4400 (45HP) 400 hr. 4WD with a loader,,, 13K,, serviced and read to work,,, no ship'n charge

WARNING  all I know I read on the Internet,,, do it enuff and you can become a guru also,,, not responsible for damages,,, I read it and just pass it along,,, proceed with caution

I saw one on Craigslist the other day. A 2007, 40 some horsepower, loader, brush hog, 270 hours for $2600.00. I answered out of curiosity. Turns out to be a woman who is 900 miles from me and she was willing to ship it free as long as I paid for it through E-Bay. After a couple of emails, I told her I was not born yesterday and that her price was about $20,000 short.

Yes, that is the main problem with CL. Saw one like that a while back on a spotless, low, low mileage Chevy Z71. Hard to imagine someone being so dumb to fall for it but I guess it happens.

Go to the "lineup" for the M series and click on "Build My Kubota" on the toolbar to price a tractor. But all you get is an MSRP which any decent dealer is going to beat by a good bit. And the MSRP won't include any of the dealer expense like filling tires, delivery, etc.

The base on an MX5100F, 2wd, manual transmission 8F/8R, is 16K. Add a loader and HD 6' bucket gets you to $20,500. The 4WD with loader $26,400.

HTH,

Thanks, I saw the "build your Kubota" but I guess I didn"t go far enough with it..Thanks again About a year ago I was given a price of $12,565 for the stripped MX5100..Should have bought it..
