Well, it took me awhile before I had time to work on the ideas you all had for me about the techumseh engine revving up and down all the time... I have no heated shop or garage to work on it, so I had to hurry up and try to do it in the winter! I tried everything.... the seafoam, and looked for a spot where a small spring might be missing, and flushed the carb of all the gas... well, nothing worked. I was just about to figure I had to live with it, when my friend suggested adjusting the arm in the picture. Not sure what it's called, but it was at a slight angle and we just straightened it out and re-tightened the screw that holds it in place... and Boom! IT WORKS! NO MORE WEIRD HIGH AND LOW IDLE!
