Over fill

What will happen if the hyro fluid is over filled on my 65 gas 4000?

How much overfill are we talking about? A couple quarts, maybe a gallon? Won't cause any problems. Owner's manual recommends overfilling some to allow for the use of single-acting cylinders. 4600 used the same rear casing, but had the level plug relocated higher to allow more hyd. oil capacity.
