over ride for a 8n

bought a pto over ride for my 8n was told it will work like a live pto . how do you put it on look at it nd don"t know how i iwll be able to put the snap ring on after it is in place with the pto cover i have any one tell me how to hook it up thanks rick

The over running or one way clutch is simply there to prevent the momementom of the cutter etc from being able to push the tractor after the clutch has been released.

To intall it you take out the small plug and the grease fitting on the opposite side and drive out the new expansion pin. Place the clutch onto the PTO shaft and align the holes so you can see through everything and drive the pin into the hole and through the PTO shaft hole till it will clear both sides of the clutch housing. You will be able to rotate the clutch one way and not the other while the PTO is in gear. Then re install the grease fitting and the plug.
