Was at a plow day on Saturday. I saw this tractor and plow. Kinda thought it belonged to the host so I asked him, “Is that your 1850?”. “It’s a 1550” he replied.
(I suppose I should have been able to tell, besides just a quick look at a rusty model spear)
When I said I was surprised to see that large a plow on a 1550 he said, jokingly, “Don’t ever tell a puller he can’t pull something; we’ll just add weight.”


He did make a round or two but the ground was a little slippery and he stopped. Later, I overheard him talking to someone else, saying that it wasn’t the original engine.
