Overbore cause higher temps?

Rebuilt my 640 with overbore sleeve kit a while
back.
Anyone find that the engine runs hotter with the
overbore kit installed?

Yep, plan on checking again tomorrow though, along with the water pump and water flow thru the radiator. I'm curious what temp effect the overbore may have with the thinner sleeve walls.

The overbore should have an insignificant effect.

The identical cooling system is more than adequate for considerably larger engines producing considerably more HP.

I would recheck the timing at full advance as well as both air and water flow through the radiator.

The conductivity of steel is so high, a few hundreths difference in thickness won"t have much effect on the heat transfer rate.
