Oversized valves for ac model g

Has anyone ever put oversized valves in a g due to the factory seats being to bad to re machine. Any help would be greatly appreciated

it dont work that way. once the seats get worn and too bad ,u replace the seats. if not removeable then they are cut out and new seats installed. plus new valves, valve guides also. even the springs are checked for strength. plus the seat width's are ground to a specified width to match on the valve face. generally the exhaust valves seats are 1/8th wide. intake 1/16th wide, kinda general rule of thumb. diesel engines are really fussy with compression for starting and the valve recession must be kept high as possible , and this requires replacing the seats and valves if they are worn too much.

The valve seats are made into the block. It doesn't have replacable seats and not enough material to install new seats. So an oversized valve it the best option vs replacing the whole block.

wht i am saying is the old seat area would be cut out and then an actual seat installed. you need to do something with them old seats as they must seat with the new valve. post a picture of them.

Nickel chrome valve seats are available to fit all lead era heads . Your local machine shop can select a size to install into a machine counterbore with new stock valves ,guides ,springs keepers ,the engine will last a long time.
