Looking into building a m-5 diesel turbocharged and p-pumped. Wanted to see if anyone has done this or seen it done. Am currently running a g-1000 with a p-pump,turbo,water-methanol, drilled injectors and around 2500rpm.

Should be similar to what you did on your G1000. Except you need a hard to find 4 cylinder p-pump. I would start with a turbo from a 5.9 cummins, as it would be close in cubic inch size, etc, plus they are easy to come by.

I will say that a 4 cylinder diesel moline will have a hard time competing with a 5.9 or a 3.9 in a tractor, or an allis 301, which is what you are going to pull with. If it were mine I would be looking at going to alcohol to be more competitive.

did the a- pump off or a case on the g-1000 first. will definatly try to go p-pump if i can find a core at a fair price. and yes the cummins would definatly be a better way to go but would rather keep the stock engine in and see what can be pushed out of it. and as far as alcohol, i"ve never had any experience with it but would like to try.
