P/S Pressure Readings

Well I believe I finally can answer some of your questions properly, I acquired a bunch of gauges and hoses, now I have the readings you asked for.

Lub: 80 psi

Neutral position C-1, C-2 200#

Neutral position peddal depressed C-4 200#

C-1 200#
C-2 200#
C-3 200#
C-4 200#

What do I have to do to bring up the pressures to where they are suppose to be?

Is this an EXPENSIVE OPERATION?

What you have given so far looks good, we are looking for combinations in each range now. Select 1st power shift and record the C1--C2 pressures, then 2nd and record C1--C3 pressures and 3rd C2--C3 pressures----Clutch down should give a C4 pressure which I think you have already given and C2--C4 will give reverse's pressure. If your pressures with warm oil stay at 200 lbs your hydraulic portion of your system appears to be in very good shape. 190--210 would be the recommended range. Will look forward to your response to be sure but your individual clutch readings look good, I would like to see the actual pairs together. Sorry to be a stickler but that's the way I was trained. mEl
