Paint color

Wanted to paint a ?47 cub and a ?53 Super C. I
would like get a good quality paint from the parts
store. I believe they carry the DuPont brand. Would
anyone know the paint code #?
Any other reccomendations are welcome, I would
like to use any good quality paint that will not fade

Well I'll give you an opinion if nobody else will. I sand-blasted and primed and painted my H with spray cans, finished up with Van Sickle, and was very disappointed. It turned a white film in a few months just sitting inside the barn. I over-sprayed it with the Case-IHC dealers red, and am very very happy. It sits in the barn, not out in the sun, but it is just exactly the correct red. It is the BN-17665 or whatever that Case-IHC number is. Not just close, or just sorta, but exactly. Looks just like the new tractors on the dealers lot. Just my opinion.
