I've used high temp like is on your charcoal grille. Been yrs ago so I don't remember how well it lasted.

Normal aluminum paint doesn't last very long if the motor gets warmed up good, know that from experience. Just looked at this picture of my parade tractor and it needs a touch up, so I'm interested in any suggestions you get.

I get Grill paint. It takes the heat very well

Read the labels on some VHT paint. High temperatures is what it is for.

High temperature paint is available at any auto parts store. Your results may vary depending upon if it is a gas or diesel engine. Diesel engines typically run cooler exhaust than gas assuming the engines are near stock.

I used high temp paint for a gas grill/ fireplace
it did NOT work very well
I do NOT recommend it
