painting a 60

I have a 60 that I use alot. The paint is pretty worn and someone previous has repainted it. I need to clean it up and repaint just to help protect it some. Im not looking for a show finish just want to get it looking a little better. What do you all do. Im thinking just remove the hoood and grill. Clean it with my hot water p.w. Clean any other grease and dirt away. Scrape away loose paint sand the hood and nose. Then give it a good coat of paint but Im wondering how others do it in a situation like this.

well i think anything worth doig is worth doig right just remove sheet metal sandblast everything then put some john deere paint and primer and a set of vinyl decals
