Painting a frame

What would ya'll use to paint a truck frame? I am leaning towards using Chassis Saver. Does anybody have any horror stories about something you might have used?

depending on how far you have stripped stuff off the frame,,or if down to bare frame,i would get it powered coated like everything else they are doing today to car/truck/etc..last longer, look as nice as painted,,,and if you can afford it also..

Money is a factor for sure. I think I can get a gallon of Chassis Saver for $120.00. Have not priced powder coating but pretty sure it will be out of my price range.

I had a street rod chassis (Model A frame, 9 inch Ford rear end housing and a couple dozen miscellaneous smaller items powder coated for just over $500. That price included blasting to get rid of any surface rust (which was minimal since most of the part were new).

Look into Zero-Rust. It isn"t as toxic to use as Por-15, but if you want more info, go to www.stovebolt.com and search on the paint and body section.
