I am looking for a new lining and rivits for a 1950 case dc with hand clutch. the belt pulley brake lining I have now is just about gone, and I dont dare use it this way, I looked on case IH on line parts, and all the belt pulley brake linings say they are retired, so im not sure where to get one? has anyone ever made a lining that will work?? thanks In advance for any help, Jim

Lot of times you can go to a truck brake shop and they will have the linings in bulk material and have the rivets on hand.

I had a clutch disc relined for a tractor at a brake shop. They did a fine job. Cost was about $25.00. Hal

would the belt pulley brake have the same kind of lining that would be found on brake bands for stopping rear wheels? thanks, jim
