partial power shift

can the knowledge base educate me on partial power shift, how"s it work, what goes wrong, what does it take to fix versus a collar synchro mesh. looking at a 2640 for hay use

2640 could have the option of a hyd hi-lo with hyd actuated clutches. It is shifted by a lever on the LH side of steering wheel from low to high(vice-verse)

If it goes bad they are VERY expensive to fix.

Make sure you don't ever try and pull start one.
