Pasquali 988

I realize this is not a Pasquali forum but hopefully someone on here knows something about them. I am looking at a Pasquali 988 which is
about 38HP with only about 350 hours on it. It is in excellent condition and started right up today (21 degrees) without any heat or ether.
Tires are better than 90%. The owner was an elderly man who bought it new. I'm thinking it would be good for skidding out wood with a
Wallenstein winch. Any suggestions as to price and durability as well as parts availability?

Italian Tractors of Canada is your best source for Italian tractor parts. We represent both Pasquali and Ferrari tractors in Canada. If we don't have the parts you need, we can usually order them. We find BCS S.p.A. (Pasquali / Ferrari tractors) provide excellent customer support and many obscure parts are still available for some of the oldest models. Parts are reasonably priced when compared to other tractor parts like Yanmar and Kubota. That being said, please note that parts come from Europe and there are logistics and shipping challenges. While Italian tractor manufacturers are excellent to deal with, North America represents the smallest portion of their sales and we are not (and cannot be) their main priority.

We try to order Pasquali and Ferrari parts a half pallet at a time. Of course we can order anything you need at anytime, but air freight out of Europe is expensive. A $96 item could cost $125 to ship and might be up to four weeks until arrival if ordered today. This is because many of the old parts come from OEM's, they are shipped and inspected by customs everytime they cross a border, are brokered for duties and held up by many of the bureaucratic regulations that we impose on the process. If we don't have it on our shelves, we will not have it in a week, it's simply not possible. We will however help you in any way we can.

Please provide us with your tractor model and serial number for all tractor parts. Common Pasquali tractor specifications (note new Lombardini engine references) are:

What to find at your local automotive supplier

There are parts available in North America that will be less expensive than what we can import. Large suppliers like NAPA or Auto Zone have bulk buying power that we can't compete with. While they don't carry a lot of applicable parts, we can't compete on price with what they do and will refer you to them when we can. Most parts for Italian tractors are too specific for the big chains, but some are not.

Actually quite a few of them were sold in the U. S. and Canada as well as the rest of the world. I admit they are not commonly seen but they have their place, actually made to work on rough terrain and side hills, very similar in design to a skidder.

Mama Mia have fun getting parts !
Looks like a fun toy to have. But I'll stick with something like a JD or Kubota compact tractor I can get parts for and I don't see why they won't do they same jobs.
I have ran a JD750 compact with 4x4 a lot and there is not much I have found it can't do. I have done things with it that I used to use larger machines for.
