she had twins a few days ago, 2 little heifers. kept one in the pump house for a few days and had to bottle feed it, as it did not find the milk tap. took it out yesterday and had to show it where breakfast comes from as i am not going to keep making it for you. it was successful. and this is a highlander momma.

I had a couple of those, they were the meanest cattle I've ever seen. They started picking on one Holstein until they broke its leg. I let that heal in the barn and when he was good put him back out with the highlanders and they beat him up and broke another leg. I put him down then and sent the highlanders to the sale barn. Cute little devils tho.

SO cute. Some around here in MN all seem to be human friendly and docile. Jim

Can’t beat two for the price of one! What are we looking at to the left? Rough sawn 1/3 logs closing the front on the shed? Maybe real “sawyers” or lumber men have another term for them?
Edit: Is this tractor related? Oh ya you lucked out they added “farm” to the forum name. 😆

we just call them slabs. i buy them from the Neighbour and use them for fire wood in the house and for the cows water trough. made due with what i had on hand, as its not a permanent thing. Corb Lund has it summed up, everything is better with some cows around, living in town brings me down.

she is not mean at all . but she dont let the others push her around either. seams like there is always a queen cow in every herd that must be the boss. i got one also. she is a red angus saler cross.
