Perkins diesel id

Not sure where to post this...

Need help identifying this Perkins 4 cyl diesel engine - it came from a Mustang skid steer. I'm attaching few photos:

The stamped number is the serial number. The second picture is of a casting number it is not the serial number.

Clean the casting number area well to be sure there are no more number hidden by paint, then it will be best to check with a Perkins dealer to get it fully decoded. I do believe it is a 4.108 as Dieseltech posted. What model is the Mustang skid steer? the standard engine likely shows in the specs for the model.

Was considering a re-build, but the reality is hitting me hard:
replacement block: $670
replacement crank (scored): $690
replacement oil pan: $80
rebuild kit: $800
bolts, studs, odds and ends: $200
---
roughly about ~$2,500 to rebuild...

I will probably just part it out.

I have two of them sitting in my garage, they came from a sailboat, they are for sale if you are interested. Located in western Pennsylvania.
