Hi Gang;
These McHale (made in Ireland) baler & wrapper combinations are becoming very popular here. There is a tv/monitor in the tractor cab to allow the operator to see whats happening.

Very cool. How automated is it? Also how long do you guys let your hay lay before baling/wrapping it?

Saw a Claas one like that here in the US. Retail price was close to $70,000. I have less then $10,000 into my baler and wrapper.

I don't do balage myself but my neighbours looks to be about 25-30% moisture. Rod probably knows better.

If we both cut at the same time, he bales in about half the drying time as me and doesn't usually need to ted.
