The contractor was here for one day with mini excavator and his men are getting ready to install the perforated plastic drainage pipe.
The trenches are dug with shallow layer of gravel in the bottom, pipe covered with a layer of pervious material which stops soil clogging up the holes but allows water to pass through. Then more gravel around & ontop of the pipe. Finally a layer of good soil on top.
