I just noticed,it's got a 2 speed PTO, that must of been changed!

What makes you say that? Most of the 66 and 86 series tractors I've seen have dual PTOs - except the 1566 and 1586 models.

when i grew up the 1066 was dual the 1466 were single 1,000,i realize this is a 86 series,but was sure there a 1,000 rpm from Factory

That is a beautiful 14. All 14's from factory that I had seen only had 1000 pto. Alot of them have been changed over the years too the two speed.

When I worked at dealer they never ordered a 14 with pto. They ordered a dealer install a two shaft pto kit from IH and put them in before delivery. Everything came in one box and could be installed in a hour. They also did same thing with the 15s but had to get shaft changer at machine shop to fit bigger coupling in 15. Hardly anyone around here would have bought a 14 or 15 if they couldnt haul manure of bale with it.

Only the 1086 was dual PTO from the factory. Many 1486s were changed over to the 1086 PTO by the dealer before the tractor was delivered.
