Okay, that's a good one. I had a vision of a 90 ton a/c that would be needed to cool a pole barn.

Many years ago, I lived and worked in and about Atlanta, GA. I was walking down Peachtree Street one day and saw a helicopter hovering above a tall building. The helicopter had a large a/c unit suspended from itself with some kind of cables. I watched for a while as the helicopter took the a/c unit down and set it onto a large flat bed trailer. A team of guys removed the cables from the unit and then the helicopter moved over to another trailer that had a new a/c unit sitting on it. I had already spent too much time watching the action so I had to leave without seeing the new unit being lifted and placed on the roof of the building, but I'm sure it was done later that day.

I guess I should not have been as impressed as I was, but I was. You might want to consider a helicopter for the installation of that new a/c that you have for your barn.

Down to blow the dirt on the floor out the door.
Up to blow the air on me.

I'm cheap. I'll use recycled blower fans.
If it gets to hit, time to cool off in a recliner.

First furnace blower I reused, I forgot some of the heat and air stuff I knew. Rigged it up to help clear fumes from the shop. Seemed to work so I left it running while I went to lunch. When returning from eating, the smell was bad, overheated windings. The intake had to be restricted to reduce the load on the motor.

How do you keep it from running away. The blower I have moves just screwed to a sheet of plywood.

I reduce current by restricting discharge. You may see a piece of wood. I adjusted the opening for minimum current. I used an amprobe.

I was expecting to see that you had installed an Amish air conditioner. They take a reefer unit off of a semi trailer and mount it on the wall of a building.

The problem with me George is that cooling off time keeps making the list to do keep getting longer. Just part of the ageing process I guess. It s hot down here in Vincennes also.
